First table is the learning organization score summary,
which lists the three main elements of a learning organization including
Leadership that reinforces learning, learning process and learning environment.
Comparing with different kinds of groups, the
Guangdong museum and Channel Zhejiang, we can find that in the part of
leadership that reinforces learning both of them cannot achieve a median score
at the number of 78. Obviously, the Guangdong museum has a higher score than that
of Channel Zhejiang. When I worked in the Guangdong museum, the leaders of
museum pay more attention to concentrate on the outcomes of activities. Only if
in some special situation, they need us to learn more new knowledge for
preparing the next activity.
The score of learning process in these two groups is so
different. The score of Channel Zhejiang in this part beyond the median score,
while the score of Guangdong museum behind it. According to talking with my
group member who ever worked in the Channel Zhejiang, I find the learning
process in some organization of Channel Zhejiang is more creative and effective
than our museum.
At the last element of this table, both of two groups
do not obtain a higher score than the median. As I have mentioned before, in
the museum, leaders just care the results of activities, leading to the
unsatisfied learning environment. However, when there is a new exhibition will
be open to the public very soon, the experts of this filed will provide us a
well learning environment so that we can grasp the necessary knowledge as soon
as possible.

The second table presents five elements such as experimentation,
information collection, analysis, education & training and information
transfer to describe the concrete learning process and practices. To the experimentation
in learning organization, both of two groups have a higher score than the
median level. And we can infer that there are a larger number of experiments in
the concrete learning process and practices for the Channel Zhejiang. Interestingly,
for the most situations, the Channel Zhejiang can achieve a relatively high score
except for education &training. On the contrary, the Guangdong museum gains
a high score in this element. Due to the real conditions, we explain that the
education &training are provided by the museum, while people in TV station have
to learn by themselves or daily work experience.

The third table lists four elements which impact the
supportive learning environment in the learning organization. Interestingly, the scores of two groups for appreciation of difference and openness to new ideas are relatively low. Maybe, the most possible reason to explain it is that both of two groups are ordered by the relevant parent offices. So, in some situations, they have to obey the superior command, resulting in their own ideas can not be applied.
