Session 3 ELEVEN

Develop and articulate ideas for describing leading change in an organisation of your choice.


There are five essential elements contain in the framework for leadership which is made by Michael Fullan (2001): moral purpose, understanding change, relationship building, knowledge creation and sharing, coherence making.
When take consider into the organization that I involved in, the leading change in TV station can be analyzed by this framework as following:

In M. Fullan’s book Leading in a Culture of Change (2001) five core mind-action sets of leadership were described as the collective determinants of an organization’s successful change. The following content will try to apply Fullan’s five variables to analyze my previous workplace-New Oriental Technology & Education Group (NOG).

I ever worked in the Guangdong museum. I’m luck to experience a special time that the museum moves from old construction to new construction. During the particular time, there are many changes happened in the museum in order to provide clients the better services.

Leading change of ICT integration to school:


Besides the technical provision of access to computer, network and Internet, the challenge to school leadership when introduce ICT into organizational change also needs to involve the training of professional staff, the accumulation of ICT-based curriculum resources and the coordination among students, teachers and leaders.
